Muay Thai Kickboxing

NBS Gym offers the best and most complete Muay Thai kickboxing training in the area. Muay Thai is considered "King of the Ring." Unlike other martial arts, the only belts you earn in Muay Thai are the championship belts you earn in the ring.

 

For the Beginner

Thai boxing, as it is also known, is great for physical fitness & coordination, self-defense, and just for fun. Anyone of any age and ability can learn Muay Thai! At NBS Gym, we have taught students from ages 8-63.

At NBS Gym, you will learn according to your skill level and ability. You'll learn the basics of kicks, knees, punches, and elbows, as well as how to defend against all those actions. All contact is optional.

 

Advanced (Training for Competition)

Being a fighter means actively competing. It means training extemely hard, conditioning harder, and constantly learning and improving. It means training 4-5 times per week, minimum. You'll kick the sand bag to develop tough shins, work angles and movement while working on the Thai pads, spar against both boxers and kickboxers, and do a lot of knee grappling.

Our fighters travel throughout the southeast to fight. We fight full rules (elbows & knees to the head) when possible - but only when you're ready.
